Submit to the Library

How to add a story to the Library

Log into your account on the TWCS Library.
Go to Account Info
Click on Add New Story
Type your story title in the Title* box
If you have a co-author, type their name in the Search box. Click on their name when it appears below the box. Repeat this process for more than one co-author.
Enter your story summary in the Summary* box. If you want to add a banner to your summary, simply click on the button in the middle row with the tree on it.

A window will popup asking for the url, description and name. Fill out this info for your image then click the insert button.
If you have any notes for your story, add them to the Story Notes: box. It’s not a required field.
Category Options – Choose the Main Category for your story from the options available (i.e. Twilight, Harry Potter, Original Fiction, etc.). The subcategories will automatically popup under your chosen Main category. Now click the > button to add the Main Category to the Selected Categories* box. Now that your Main Category is selected, choose your subcategory and click the > button again to add it to the Selected Categories* box under your Main Category.
Choose the characters in your story. Simply click on the first character you want and then press ctrl and click on the additional characters. The ones you already selected should remain highlighted as long as you use the ctrl button when you click.
Choose the Rating* of your story. If you are submitting a one shot and there will be no additional chapters, click on the Complete: box
Enter either the title of your chapter or the chapter number in the Chapter Title: box
Enter any author notes or chapter notes into the Chapter Notes: box
Enter your story into the Story Text (text)* box. If you prefer to upload a file, simply save your file as a text file (.txt) not a word file to your computer. Click on the Browse… button next to the Story Text (file) and choose the file from your computer.
Enter any additional author notes to the End Notes: box.
Click on the Add Story button to submit your story.

I am new here to The Writer's Coffee Shop and have just added one of my stories here. I am having trouble figuring out how to download my banner for my story. I have no idea how to find out the URL for my banner. How do I do that? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello, I have just done everything listed here to post a new story but when I hit submit , it told me that I am not authorized to access that function. Please help. It's not letting me post.
